This family is such a kick!  These girls couldn’t have been more fun to photograph (and Derrek too, lol). :)  It was a perfect day for outdoor portraits – we started at the boardwalk and hit the playground….  I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, does it look like we had a great time? (…cuz…..we did!!)

Jazmyn’s not gonna be needing those boosts for long!..and…Mom and Dad, don’t blink – Alyson looks so grown up for age 6!!

Although we congratulate Derrek on his promotion within corp management at the Great Wolf Lodge, we’re sorry to hear that this means they’ll be leaving Olympia soon.  We all joked that shots like this one will be proof to midwest friends and family that they actually lived in Olympia, WA!

Love how this illustrates the fact that Alyson leads the way – and Jazmyn wants to follow her big sister’s every step! :-)

…and….the big finale…we took a dinner break to wait for the fountains to come back on – it was worth the wait. ;-) Check out this action series of the day with Jazmyn – both girls were amazing sports, and I think they would’ve stayed all night if the fountains were still going!

Vizsla breeder Jill Brennan hired us last year to take some portfolio images of her prize Vizslas  — what beautiful energetic dogs!  This year she called about a session with her daughter Jessica who’s a senior in high school in Salem, OR.   Jessica has her own Vizsla and together they brought 4 dogs out to play in the woods and on the beach at Priest Point.  A fun day!

Laura and James purchased the portrait package that we recently donated to the 2008 Harvest Moon Gala – a charitable auction that supports the work of the SPSCC Foundation for scholarships and college programs. This is the second year we’ve donated to the SPSCC Gala, one of several events we’ve donated to in support of scholarships.  It’s always exciting to meet and work with a family that shares our commitment to education.

We spent a glorious fall morning exploring the reaches of Priest Point Park with Laura, James, and their bright and energetic daughters, Evelyn and Hazel. We had the pleasure of tagging along for tree climbing, jumping, swinging and collecting giant fallen leaves.
