Laura~James~Evelyn~Hazel ~ Lifestyle portraits ~ Olympia WA

Laura and James purchased the portrait package that we recently donated to the 2008 Harvest Moon Gala – a charitable auction that supports the work of the SPSCC Foundation for scholarships and college programs. This is the second year we’ve donated to the SPSCC Gala, one of several events we’ve donated to in support of scholarships. It’s always exciting to meet and work with a family that shares our commitment to education.

We spent a glorious fall morning exploring the reaches of Priest Point Park with Laura, James, and their bright and energetic daughters, Evelyn and Hazel. We had the pleasure of tagging along for tree climbing, jumping, swinging and collecting giant fallen leaves.

Check out a few of the pictures – you’ll be able to see that this is a family that truly treasures their time together. …..and….it’s true what they say – “the gift is in the giving” - - our donation earned us the good fortune to create fun memories with an awesome family. :)

Olympia High - Class of 2009 - Chelsea

Chelsea and her mom met us at the Olympia Yacht Club for her senior portriats - we got to shoot all over the waterfront and then she set sail in her own little sailboat and gave a show of her skills - when we were done she sailed off into the sunset - literally! ;-)

North Thurston High School Class of 2009 - Juan

Juan and Zane are both seniors at North Thurston High School in Lacey and we met them at the soccer field and then headed downtown for a fun fall session.

North Thurston High Class of 2009 - Zane

Zane signed up to be our rep for his high school this year - it was fun working with him on that and we finally hooked up to do his senior portrait session in time to get the yearbook photos in. We met him and his friend Juan at the soccer fields in Lacey (they’re both awesome soccer players) and then headed downtown to get some urban shots. Here are a few of my favorites:

Tumwater High Class of 2009 - Lindsey M

September 26, 2008 – 9:02 pm

Lindsey and her mom Kim came to downtown Olympia for the first part of her senior session, then we headed back to their house for the end of the session to catch the sunset and play with the family dog in their beautiful backyard.
